Locked in a tower, on an isle's clear sight.
An island in a lake's calm midst she knew,
Years passed, the king's reign bid a fond adieu,
Now, the monarch rests in death's embrace,
The Goose Queen, free at last, regains her grace.
No more confined by walls, her spirit soars,
Yet beware, for dark paths, her heart explores...
